It took three trips to find this stunning natural bridge in London and it was entirely worth the trouble. The size is almost unbelievable; easily the largest you'll see in our area, at over 70 feet end-to-end. After appreciating the views from the top, you can make your way underneath this natural passage and get an even better understanding of just how gigantic it really is. The creek in the area flows through one side of the arch, creating a small waterfall that lands on the stones beneath. The whole scene, with the bridge, the water and the leaves, was far more impressive than I could have imagined.
The trail is in nice shape. Six total miles Along a ridge top. Wooded area. Passes through a lot of Kentucky history.
